ZCHS Model United Nations team competes at the University of Chicago

The ZCHS Model United Nations team competed at the University of Chicago Model United Nations Conference (MUNUC)one of the largest MUN conferences in North America and the premier competition in the Midwest. The team competed against more than 3,000 students from across the United States, as well as international delegations, making this one of the most challenging and prestigious events of the season.

Over the course of four days, our 28 delegates engaged in rigorous debates, tackled pressing global issues, and collaborated on resolutions to address real-world crises. All students performed exceptionally well in their respective committees, demonstrating diplomacy, critical thinking and leadership.

At the conclusion of the conference, the ZCHS delegation earned six (6) prestigious awards, a historic achievement for our team, marking the first time we’ve won multiple awards at this event. Congratulations to Truman Greaves, Taylor Mullis, Robert Bell, Addison Prieshoff, Helena Streib, and Jack Stark on their outstanding performances.

The team will now turn its focus to their final conference of the season at Indiana University at the end of this month. Best of luck to all delegates as they conclude an incredible year of competition.
