The Indiana Academic All-Stars program, presented annually, highlights the achievements of 40 top seniors from Indiana’s high schools, selected through a highly competitive nomination process. Each accredited Indiana high school is invited to nominate one remarkable senior who demonstrates exemplary performance across multiple dimensions, including advanced coursework, standardized test scores, extracurricular leadership and meaningful community involvement.

"It has been very humbling to be nominated by my peers. My colleagues make me a better educator every single day, and I admire the perseverance and the care that they have for every student in their classroom. It has been very humbling to me and something that I will hold in my heart until I am done teaching."

"This is my 24th year in teaching. I was hired when Zionsville Middle School opened. I taught sixth grade for two years, then I went to Stonegate when it opened and now to Trailside. This is a building full of great teachers. And so, I just feel really, really honored that they think I'm doing a good job, too."

"This town is so special. I have lived here since 1998. I've taught here since 1991, and there's just no place like it. It is home, and I am honored to be a teacher for Zionsville Community Schools. The attention is a little overwhelming, but it's an incredible honor to be recognized by my peers and the administrators.
