ZCHS senior celebrations continue
Special recognition program honors scholarship recipients and outstanding academic achievement
Zionsville Community High School (ZCHS) students were recognized at the annual Senior Awards Ceremony. This year's program recognized senior award recipients for earning more than $1 million dollars in scholarship and award money from local and individual foundations, many of whom are based in Boone County or neighboring communities.
This year, the graduates of ZCHS have reported their intent to matriculate to universities, community colleges, technical apprenticeships or military service. Beyond the classroom, these students have been honored at the state, regional, and national level for their accomplishments in publications, robotics, business leadership, academic competitions, performing arts and athletics.
Congratulations to those students recognized.
A full wrap-up highlight and all photos will be included in the digital graduation release in June.
Reminder to send a photo!
We want to honor all of our seniors and their next steps after graduation whether college, military, career, trade or gap year. Please send a photo of your senior wearing gear that represents their future plans to zcsphotos@zcs.k12.in.us.

"I was extremely honored. You know, sometimes you do things, most of the time you do things, as a teacher behind the scenes. And, it's really special to be, chosen by your peers for something
like this.
MICHELLE
PELTIER
"I feel really lucky to be nominated by my peers. All of my peers, all my colleagues, are wonderful, great people who have the same outlook on life that I do. We are all really curious people and want the best for kids and have fun doing it."
ALLISON TRIPOLITIS
"Zionsville Community Schools is so special to me. I have felt embraced by this community, as a relative newcomer. And I think that comes down to the students, and the families that are part of this amazing district. I have loved getting to know everybody, and the hard work and creativity and passion that all of these students have just continues to inspire me to be a better educator."
