ZCS Do Days
this week!

The sixth annual ZCS Do-Days takes place next week -- March 7-9, 2024. This is a season of giving back for all students and families in Zionsville Community Schools. Join us as we come together to give back to the community we all call home!
Students and staff districtwide will be actively engaged in various service projects. We have a list of the many projects that are being completed in classrooms, by athletic, arts and extra-curricular teams, and so many more. Feel free to share your family project with us as well. Send project details to Janet Mann at jmann@zcs.k12.in.us. And don't forget to include photos!
We are so excited to see the many ways we can make a positive impact in our community.
If you have any questions about ZCS Do Days, contact Kelly Antcliff at kantcliff@zcs.k12.in.us.
We are #zcsnation!

Art Month
March is Youth Art Month. This annual observation emphasizes the value of art education for all children and encourages support for quality school art programs.
This month, artwork created by students in the Zionsville Fine Arts Department (Grades 1-12) will be on display around the community. Check with your art teacher for details on where to find your school's work.
First Friday Receptions will be held this evening (March 1) from 5-7 p.m. at Sullivan Munce Cultural Center, Goodman Jewelers and Fivethirty Home. There will also be a reception from 6-8 p.m. at the Hussey-Mayfield Memorial Public Library. Events are open to the public.

Unified Champion Track and Field Event 2023
Disability Awareness Week is March 4-8 in Zionsville Community Schools. Each day there will be a specific announcement and/or extension activity in our elementary and middle school buildings to promote being an ally for the inclusion of all students.
Students will have the opportunity to participate in a “Hats On for Inclusion Day” during the week. On your school's designated day (see school newsletter), students are invited to wear a hat to show support for inclusion and to promote the Unified Champion Event in May.
Preschool Unified Champion Game Day is April 30 at Pleasant View Elementary School, and the ZCS Unified Champion Track and Field event will be May 10 at Zionsville Middle School.

Class of 2024
Attention Class of 2024 Families: send in a photo of your senior wearing something that shows what's next!
Attention Class of 2024 Families: send in a photo of your senior wearing something that shows what's next!
We know it's still a little early and some seniors haven't finalized plans yet, but when you do...
We will be producing a district video with photos of the ZCHS Class of 2024 seniors. Please share a photo of your senior wearing spirit wear or posed in a setting showing their next steps. For some, this will be donning a college sweatshirt, while others will be pursuing trades, a gap year, beginning a career or enlisting in a branch of the military. We want to celebrate all students!
Send photos to: zcsphotos@zcs.k12.in.us with the subject line ZCHS Class of 2024.
