Zionsville Education Foundation (ZEF) Bash

The Zionsville Education Foundation (ZEF) will host its annual ZEF Bash fundraiser on November 9, 2024, at the Golf Club of Indiana from 6:00 to 11:00 p.m. This event is one of ZEF's largest fundraisers and plays a significant role in supporting Zionsville Community Schools (ZCS).

Proceeds from ZEF Bash directly benefit ZCS students, teachers, and programs by funding innovative educational initiatives, classroom grants, and professional development opportunities for staff. ZEF provides essential resources that go beyond what the school district’s budget can cover, enhancing the educational experience for all students. These funds support projects that promote academic excellence, foster creativity, and enrich learning environments, helping ensure ZCS remains a leader in public education.

Zionsville Community Schools Wins 2024 Rosie Award for Health Plan Excellence

Zionsville Community Schools (ZCS) has been awarded the 2024 Rosie Award, which recognizes outstanding excellence in health plan stewardship. This prestigious award highlights the district’s ongoing commitment to managing healthcare costs while enhancing employee benefits.

Through strategic efforts, ZCS has successfully lowered healthcare expenses without compromising the quality of benefits offered to staff. This achievement reflects our dedication to supporting the well-being of our employees and ensuring high-quality benefits for all.

Best Day in Boone

Thank you to ZCS employees and board members who recently volunteered for the Best Day in Boone service day.

Best Day in Boone, hosted by the Boone Economic Development Commission (EDC), connects local companies with community projects, fostering volunteerism and collective impact county-wide.

This year, ZCS leaders volunteered at the Indiana Diaper Bank. This organization has only three staff members and relies heavily on volunteers.  They provide 20 -30 thousand diapers to Boone County families, including our families in Whitestown and Zionsville. Together, ZCS bundled 11,575 diapers.
