PROJECT LEAD THE WAY

Zionsville Middle School program and teacher recognized

Zionsville Middle School's (ZMS) Project Lead the Way (PLTW) program, under leadership of Gary Werner, Andy Seward and Terry Rowe was recently named a PLTW Distinguished Program.

The award recognizes districts and schools committed to unlocking student potential through their PLTW programs.

ZMS Teacher Terry Rowe was named "National PLTW Outstanding Teacher" and one of only 79 teachers in the country to be recognized for this honor.

"Winning the national PLTW outstanding teacher award is humbling. I am thankful for the many congratulations I have received from my colleagues," said Rowe.

Rowe said that the ZCS PLTW program's success is a reflection of the hard work of teachers, students and the community. He said it is important that students learn to always dream big.

As a middle school teacher and PLTW program leader, Rowe consistently reminds his students that there is only one thing that makes a dream impossible to achieve and that is the fear of failure.

Rowe and the PLTW program have demonstrated outstanding success!

Congratulations!
