CELEBRATING THE ZCHS CLASS OF 2025!
OVERVIEW
On a beautiful Sunday afternoon, the Ascension St. Vincent Stadium was filled with pride, anticipation, and celebration as the Zionsville Community High School Class of 2025 gathered for Commencement. Under sunny skies, graduates took their places before a crowd of family and friends, ready to mark this milestone moment. The ceremony featured heartfelt speeches, meaningful music and all the cherished traditions of graduation day.
The ceremonial turning of the tassels signaled new beginnings. Some of our graduates will head to college while others will pursue a trade or a gap year, begin a career, or enlist in the military. Wherever their paths lead, ZCS graduates are prepared and supported.
ACHIEVEMENTS
More than 70% of graduates earned a Core 40 Diploma with academic or technical honors. Three foreign exchange students participated in the commencement ceremony and will receive diplomas from their home school. Five members of the Class of 2025 enlisted in a branch of the military, an ROTC program, or a United States Military Academy and 12 seniors earned an industry certification through the J. Everett Light Career Center (JEL).
ZCHS seniors passed 893 AP exams with a score of three or higher while earning 2,070 credits in dual credit courses.
Members of the Class of 2025 participated in nearly 90 clubs and activities and completed 45,000 hours of community service raising more than $76,000 for charities over their past four years.
Ahead of graduation, seniors participated in the annual Senior Awards Ceremony. During this year’s program, senior award recipients were recognized for earning more than $1,000,000 worth of scholarship and award money from local and individual foundations, many of whom are based in Boone County or neighboring communities. Congratulations to the ZCHS Class of 2025.

Our Eagles earned four Hoosier Crossroads Conference (HCC) championships, five sectional titles, and one team state championship in girls golf. Additionally, Taylor Snively (girls golf) and Omema Anyanwu (400m track) were crowned individual state champions.
ZCHS celebrated six individual HCC champions across boys and girls tennis, swim, track, and golf. Two students were named HCC Athletes of the Year: Jose De Andrade (tennis) and Maguire Mitchell (basketball). We proudly recognized seven HCC Coaches of the Year and earned the HCC Sportsmanship Award for both fall and winter seasons. The school also claimed 2nd place overall in the HCC All-Sports Trophy standings.
Off the field, our students continued to excel. More than 50 seniors committed to play collegiate athletics, and a record-breaking 134 students were honored as Eagle Scholars for their academic achievements.

The ZCHS Marching Band earned 3rd place at the ISSMA Scholastic Class State Finals, while Indoor Percussion placed 4th out of 57 groups at their world competition. The band program was also honored with the ISSMA All-Music Award for excellence across ensembles.
In orchestra, Keegan Lammers was named INASTA Orchestra Director of the Year, and all four ZCHS orchestras received Gold with Distinction ratings at ISSMA. 27 soloists and ensembles earned Gold ratings at ISSMA Solo and Ensemble, with 12 receiving Gold at the State level. The orchestras also made their mark nationally, traveling to Nashville, TN, where they performed at the Country Music Hall of Fame, recorded in RCA Studio B, and participated in a clinic at Vanderbilt University.
The ZCHS Choir, Combo & Crew also had a standout year, showcasing their talents and service throughout the community. Students performed or participated in:
- Service projects
- Zionsville Fall Festival & Parade
- Quarterly concerts
- Veteran’s Day Convocation
- St. Luke’s Christmas Concert
- And closed the year with the highest attended Finale in ZSI history!
Notably, Phoebe Sidebottom and Claire Kauffman were selected as Great American Songbook Academy participants, a prestigious honor recognizing vocal excellence.

Zionsville Community High School (ZCHS) students were recognized at the annual Senior Awards Ceremony. This year's program recognized senior award recipients for earning more than $1,000,000 worth of scholarship and award money from local and individual foundations, many of whom are based in Boone County or neighboring communities.
This year, the graduates of ZCHS have reported their intent to matriculate to universities, community colleges, technical apprenticeships, or military service. Beyond the classroom, these students have been honored at the state, regional and national level for their accomplishments in publications, robotics, business leadership, academic competitions, performing arts and athletics.

CELEBRATING ACADEMIC AND ATHLETIC EXCELLENCE
During a special ceremony, Zionsville Community High School (ZCHS) celebrated seniors who earned a place in the top 15–30% of their class by maintaining a GPA between 4.0 and 4.21. The event also honored recipients of the Eagle Award, student-athletes who achieved a 4.0–4.21 GPA and earned a varsity letter during the school year.

Zionsville Community High School (ZCHS) is proud to announce that senior Andy Qin was recognized as a 2025 Indiana Academic All-Star, a prestigious honor celebrating academic excellence, leadership and service among high school students statewide.
The Indiana Academic All-Stars program, presented annually, highlights the achievements of 40 top seniors from Indiana’s high schools, selected through a highly competitive nomination process. The program is sponsored by the Indiana Association of School Principals and the Indiana Academic All-Stars Committee and honors students who go beyond academic success to make meaningful contributions to their schools and communities.

ROTARY STRONG IN EVERY WAY SENIOR RECOGNITION BREAKFAST
The Rotary Club of Zionsville honored 20 Zionsville Community High School (ZCHS) seniors at a breakfast recognition program for demonstrating the personal assets of the ZCS Strong in Every Way ideals and embodying the Rotary Four-Way Test Tenets.
Students were nominated for the award by ZCHS teachers. Each recognized student had the opportunity to honor an adult in the community as their most influential mentor.

A SENIOR CELEBRATION TO REMEMBER
ZCHS seniors marked their final full day together with Memories and Milestones, a full-circle celebration that blended reflection with excitement for what’s ahead. From the new Senior Send-Off walk through elementary hallways to Rachael’s First Week, a powerful program on making good decisions, the day was packed with meaning. The day wrapped up with a picnic on the football field and graduation practice, setting the stage for Commencement.
