I began my college career with an undecided major in fear of missing my calling, but interest survey after interest survey kept pointing me in the direction of education. Fast forward a semester, and I was sitting alongside children in a classroom setting where I fell in love and developed a strong desire to learn with them and from them every day. I was so fortunate to have spent time in a variety of school settings while in college, helping me to narrow down where I really felt I belonged and that’s with some of our youngest learners. They are compassionate and engaging human beings, and truly some of the best teachers around. I feel honored to spend my days in the presence of children."
